To pick runs, follow these steps.
Check your seniority number on the list below to see when you can pick. You must pick before the end of your assigned run pick time slot. If you do not pick your runs before the end of your assigned time slot, the next person in line will be allowed to pick before you.
Check the max-hours slots that are available on the list below to see how many hours you can pick up. These will be checked off as people fill them. So, if there are still people above you on the seniority list who have not yet picked, expect this list to diminish as your turn approaches.
Check available runs on the lists below to see which runs you can pick up. These will be marked as they are taken.
Note: a driver may not choose a run until the posted end time of the driver preceding him/her unless the driver immediately before has chosen. You must choose a run before your end time or the next driver may choose a run and you forfeit your place. You may call in any time after that and choose, but your choices are limited to the shifts that are left at that point.
You may do your run pick in one of two ways: in-person or over-the-phone. In either case, please prepare ahead of time and be ready with your run selections so that this proceeds quickly and smoothly. Use the following guidelines to prepare:
A driver may choose any combination of shifts and days as long as the total hours fit within the limitations on the number of hours. Position #25 and after must pick an on-call or a vacation relief as part of your schedule.
All normal scheduling rules apply:
Blank flowsheets are available at the links below. These are not required for runpick and may be ignored if you are not familiar with how to read a flowsheet.
